About the Journal

DIDAKTIS: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia aims to advance scholarly understanding of Indonesian language and literary education by publishing rigorous, original research that contributes to both theoretical development and practical innovation in language and literature learning, linguistics, and literary studies.

DIDAKTIS: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia (e-ISSN: 2986-5956) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published twice a year, in March and September, by Fakultas Sastra, Universitas Muslim Indonesia. It has been nationally accredited at SINTA 2 by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, through the Directorate of Research and Community Service (Decree No. 2/C/C3/KPT/2026, dated 2 January 2026). The accreditation is valid from Volume 1 Number 1 (2023) through Volume 6 Number 1 (2028).

The journal publishes research-based articles in three areas: language and literature learning, linguistics, and literary studies. A detailed description of the topics covered is available on the Focus and Scope page, and manuscripts are expected to follow the journal's Author Guidelines and Template. All published articles are freely available under a CC BY-SA 4.0 license, ensuring immediate and unrestricted access to research findings.

Journal Policy Update 2026

Effective Vol. 4 No. 2 (September 2026), the Article Processing Charge is revised to reflect rising operational costs and the Editorial Board's continued investment in editorial quality. Details are available on the Article Processing Charges page.

The Author Guidelines and Article Template are also revised to align with international publication standards and strengthen transparency in author declarations. This revision begins its transition period at Vol. 4 No. 2 and becomes mandatory starting Vol. 5 No. 1 (March 2027). The updated Template and Author Guidelines are available for download.
